| 103590 | 2002-12-05 09:24:00 | Hi I have a Windows 98 pc which I have just loaded Office 2000 premium. On opening, all the other apps like Excel and what not open fine for the exception of Word which just sits there with the hour glass. Basically the machine freezes. There is no error message what so ever. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still no use. I put it onto another old machine which I have and Office works fine even Word. Would anyone have any clues????? |

| 103591 | 2002-12-05 19:28:00 | Find your "normal.dot" default template file and delete it. Word will recreate one when it loads. A corrupt file such as this will not usually be replaced when re-installing. |
