| 103666 | 2002-12-06 04:35:00 | was just downloading a file with IE6 and my internet connection cut out, I wasn't too worryed and went back to the site and started the download again saving the file to the same directory. I was amazed to find htat IE picked up the download from where it left off. I just have a few quetions about this. If is stop a download and then try to continue the download after a reboot will it still work? how long has this been a feature in IE? |

| 103667 | 2002-12-06 04:38:00 | auto resume feature has been in IE since about IE5.01. only works if the net gets cut out not if you stop the download and the server must support resume. i find it a pain as you never know if it will ever resume. a download manger is still way better. | tweak'e (174) | ||
| 103668 | 2002-12-06 07:39:00 | tru tru. nothing beats a good download manager, but still interesting. Pity microsoft doesn't make a flashy lil interface and include a basic download manager. You learn something new every day, thanx tweak'e |
