Suggest go on line, open Internet Explorer, insert address http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com Cl green arrow Scan for updates. This will giveyou a list of critical updates Be warned this may take a long time to download and instal. It is possible that some of the critical updates have been downloaded but not installed, clicking on the update will advise you of what is ready to instal. As suggested by JM leave non critical updates until you have all the critical ones installed, this may take several hours. The most essential critical ones are those preventing hacking. |
