104023 2002-12-07 10:38:00 i remember asking this question a while ago here, but i think the people who answered mis-understood the question, so here goes again

i am using win98, and some options have been placed in the right click menu that i dont want there any more, heres an example of the commands that i want to remove (the ones circled in red):

homepages.ihug.co.nz

so how would i go about doing this?

grtz sal.

*the 'how' they got there i guess is from a program i installed that called 'Folder Size Shell Extension', which in itself, is very handy, but the extra right click options are just annoying

i also have a program, Resource Hacker, which maybe helpful, but im not sure if it would be dangerous/needed to edit explorer.exe, or other system file

Remove the [] each end of the address

[www.microsoft.com/ntworkstation/downloads/ PowerToys/Networking/NTTweakUI.asp]

Download and extract to somewhere, it is listed in the instructions on the site before you download the file, after extraction you RIGHT click on of the four files and select Install from the menu given.

It will usually install to your Control Panel though you can create a short cut from that and place in your Start > Programs Menu.
