I like reading page 104 I was beginning to think I was a square on a round whole, I always prefer to look at the detail option, opposed to stupid pictures, while having the file extension displayed would be great, eg from the page 104 "Readme.rtf" but the size would be great too if possable, for example if the file size was say 100K in file size there would be a big Icon displayed, but if the file was a 100K file size Bitmap picture it would show a small Icon. I always find it a bit annoying when I am at someone else compter and looking for a file with pictures all over the screen.

103812 2002-12-06 21:22:00 Yeah. What are you actually on about here? mark c (247)
103813 2002-12-06 22:11:00 Haven't got that issue yet E.ric but I'm with you on that one. That's one thing I'm having difficulty in coming to terms with in WinXP - I'm used to having the details view and there is a choice of some other nice views now but they don't provide as much info as details.... it's a bit hard making up my mind what I like best. :D Susan B (19)

You must have a high IQ . judging from the other replies .
The article was taking about "The Windows we'd like to see"

When I first went on Internet, I paid about $2 . 50 an hour (and still could if I wish), I used to pop on internet save lots of things and pop off, (so to speak), to read things off line, then I had all these files all around, sometimes to find something I had to do a word search on * . HTM if I could remenber a word used in the article I saved, and sometime try and remember when I saved it so I could bring in the date option to keep the size of the search list down :O

Sometimes people used to sent me URL's all the time by Email, sometimes I might read that Email again, and go on Internet to see that I had been there before and saved the page somewhere?

Wouldn't be great if when you are off line and you clicked on to a URL, it came up with a warning window saying "you are off line at the moment, I will try and find the web site in you internet temp files" and if they are in there bingo $no money$ happy reading off line .

103817 2002-12-07 03:06:00 E . ric, you and I do have a lot in common -- I know exactly what you mean about saving those pages to read offline and wondering where the heck the one I wanted had got to . I try and save them with meaningful names but sometimes it takes a while to find the page I wanted .

Ha, when sorting out my favorites to delete those I don't want anymore I sometimes come across a good page to save only to discover that I already had it saved to the HDD long ago . :D
