| 103804 | 2002-12-06 20:11:00 | Okay, I installed my new soundcard (SB!Live 5.1 SE) after running the windows setup and I had everything else going. I restarted the PC and it came up in Win2K as soon as I'd logged in asking for the SB!Live drivers which were on the CD in the drive that came with the soundcard. Problem is, it will only use the onboard sound, It picks up the SB Soundcard in the Hardware manager, but nothing else. There's the really weird C-Media Onboard volume control in the taskbar, nothing else. How do i get it to use the SB!Live soundcard so I can eventually have surround sound? Cheers Chilling_Silence |

You probably already been down that avenue anyway but just in case................ | duckyduck (197) | ||
