| 103758 | 2002-12-06 09:19:00 | Logical unit not ready, long write in progress This error message appears if the record internal buffer is full when starting to write a DAO CD. This error message is handled correctly as of Nero 4.0.0.5. Please click on Nero Update to 4.0.0.5 or newer. If this error message appears after successfully writing a CD and then the drive is subsequently blocked, then this problem may be caused if Nero tries to open the drive before the CD Writer is ready. Please activate the following option: In File -> Settings -> Expert settings -> don't eject the CD immediately after burning. If you are already using a newer Nero version, then please turn the switch off the automatic off, particularly of you are using one of the following CD Writer : Actima ARW-4420, A-Open CRW9420, Backpack CD-REWRITER-4D, Caravell RW-4420, Compro CDRW7040A, Delta OIP-RW2004A, Delta OMEW141, Imation CD-RW IMWO40420, Maxell MCD-RW44-20, Memorex CDRW-4420, Mitsubishi CDRW4420a, Ricoh MP7040A or one of the following: Actima ARW-4420S, A-Open CRW9420S, Delta OIP-RW2004/B, Ricoh MP7040S or one of the following: Acer CRW622, A-Open CRW622, Backpack CD-REWRITER-2A, Hival 2x6x2 Rewritable, Lite-On LTR-511, Philips Omniwriter26A, Philips Omniwriter International, Ricoh MP6200A or one of the following: Acer CRW620, A-Open CRW620, Dynatek CDE260R, Dysan CR-620, Memorex CRW-620, Mitsubishi RW226, Nomai 680RW, Philips Omniwriter26, Pinnacle RCDW226, Pinnacle MP6200, Ricoh MP6200S, Ricoh MP6201S, Ricoh MP6211S or one of the following: Ricoh MP7080A, Ricoh MP7080S, Reason: other software is accessing the burner. Please also replace the IDE drivers with up-to-date ones or with the drivers from the "Standard-IDE/ESDI-Harddisk-Drive-Controller". |
