104280 2002-12-08 19:54:00 I recently installed (and since removed!) a network card to facilitate peer-to-peer connectivity. Not only could I not get it to work, but the whole process has had serious flow on effects. I run Windows 2000.

- Neither Outlook Express nor Eudora 5.1 will work (I get a string of windows telling me that Dr Watson's Log has .....

- My Canon N670U scanner will not run because it can't find the Twain driver

- Word will not SAVE any document that is open.

I have had to resort on several occasions to opening Windows Safe Mode in order to get started because I was getting the message 'a driver corrupted pool memory use for holding pages destined for disk.

- There may well be others that I don't know about at the moment.

I'm sure I have undone all the changes I made to System, networking, etc. but obviously there is something else I should do.

What? .... please?

You might need to reinstall the software that is not working as well, if a reinstall doesn't work.

104282 2002-12-08 21:37:00 You probably have deleted some essential Windows system files accidentally . You may try to repair your Windows 2000 by running the Windows set up from the CD and select repair option . After you have successfully repaired your Windows 2000, you may have to reinstall all other affected application software programmes .

You may also like to tell us more about how you installed your network card (NIC driver) and how you configured your P2P network connectivity so that we may help you solve your problem .

Good luck!
