| 104277 | 2002-12-08 10:14:00 | ok when I pop my recovery cd in, and boot my comp, it asks if I would like to go into the recovery mode. so I do, and after a few screens, it asks for the administrator password. so I type in the password of one of my windows admin. accounts, and it says the password is incorrect. I then booted into windows, removed all passwords, tried again, and it still asks for a password...what's up with this? | tango (2697) | ||
| 104278 | 2002-12-11 07:04:00 | I'm guessing that the computer came pre-installed as XP. (otherwise you wouldn't have just a Recovery CD). Contact the supplier and see if they have a standard password for installations. HTH Regards Graham Bockett |
