If the suggestion given in July didn't work, try drag - and - drop from windows explorer to the desktop. |

Something odd. The Recycle Bin on the Desktop is not an ordinary shortcut that can be removed by "oops". It needs major surgery to do that.
You could also try the Desktop tab in Tweakui to see if the Recycle Bin box is checked, but Godfathers suggestion will work, as also will putting an ordinary shortcut to the Bin onto the Desktop. |
