| 104075 | 2002-12-07 22:42:00 | My daughter is a keen Japanese student and she has enabled the Japanese character set so that she can type kanji. However for some reason this means that the \ character in all my XP directory strings now appears as a yen sign. The scary thing is that I'm getting used to it. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can stop it w/o removing the character set option? Cheers |

Maks sure in the advanced tab the dropdown list is set to this also. Now go to the languages tab and click details. Make sure the keyboard is set to English, New Zealand, US. Click OK. Hope this can help. | nzskibum (2714) | ||
