| 1323475 | 2013-01-18 22:29:00 | As an exercise I want to set up my old Desk top as server so am doing some housekeeping first. It is a Dell Dimension 2400 XT with 1 GB ram. Anyway when I start it up it shows 4 drives in Explorer C = C Drive D = CD Drive E = CD Writer F = CD Drive D & E are "Phantoms" as they don't exist. Also want to add a 160 GB Seagate HD which i have been given but will do that once I sort the drives out. Checked the setup and nothing strange there. How do I get rid of the phantoms? |
