1322960	2013-01-15 21:40:00	Hi Guys. Compaq Pressario SR5240. 64x2Dual core 4600+ 3 GB Ram Windows Vista. Been running well since new now suddenly started BS. Error message reads "Page fault in non paged area". *** STOP 0x00000050 (0xD08B1175), 0x00000008,0xd08b1175,0x00000002. Also the last time I restarted it it was beeping. Short beep followed by a long one. suggestions welcome Colin	Colpol (444)
1322961	2013-01-15 22:05:00	The beeping means theres a hardware problem, Could just be crap/dust etc in the connections/contacts, Remove any memory, Graphic Card if it has one, give the slots a blow out put them back, see what happens. You can also run memtest through it to see is any memory has failed. You can also try the hotfix support.microsoft.com BUT considering its beeping its more than likely hardware related somehow.	wainuitech (129)

1322963	2013-01-16 18:37:00	The error "Page fault in nonpaged area" usually means a RAM problem. As mentioned by "wainuitech", Google memtest86 Another possibility is a bad page file. I'd create a new page file. Search Google for "vista page file change" (without the quotes)	kingdragonfly (309)
1322964	2013-01-16 21:04:00	Thanks for the suggestions I have opened the box, and removed the ram and reseated them. Also dedusted everything. Now been running for a couple of days worth and so far no problem. Will run Memtest overnight tonight to make sure. will also redo the page file when SWMBO will let me at it.	Colpol (444)
