| 1322927 | 2013-01-15 10:56:00 | Hi all. I got onto Twitter just a few moments ago and found a direct message from @Soluto - the handy service that chops boot time and other stuff - saying this : "FYI this profile on twitter bit.ly/V4uiiR is spreading nasty blogs around about you" Now don't click the link because it is a phishing site, unluckily enough for me I did click (tap) this on my tablet:pf1mobmini::badpc:, and so no warning came up about it and logged in anyway to the page that came up. I did think something was odd when it said that the link didn't exist, so I went onto my faithful PC and checked it out, and then I found out about it, and promtly changed my password and connected apps passwords. Next thing you know I remeber seeing a post from @Soluto like this: "Hi All, We're sorry if you receive a spam DM from us - we're working on fixing it. Please do not click the link in the message." Which was posted around about the same time as the phishing message at 8:52 PM, which is quite frustrating, because I didn't know what a DM is, till I searched Google. (Such a dumdum when it comes to this social networking stuff) So I was just wondering how else I could protect myself from the Phishing site that I gave my login details to through my tablet, other than changing passwords and stuff? Plz reply ASAP, this is somewhat an emergency! :badpc: Tinkering away at fixing the problem |
