| 1322800 | 2013-01-14 18:04:00 | Hi guys How can I tell if Microsoft dot net is already installed on my system ? I am trying to install Seatools diagnostics for my hard drives. It says that I need Micorsoft dot net. |

| 1322802 | 2013-01-14 19:03:00 | Two notes: You can have more than one version of the DotNet framework running. The DotNet application major version number has to match an installed Framework number. In other words, you need DotNet framework version 4, if your application was written using DotNet framework version 4 This is how I usually check the Framework is installed, and running. Launch "Computer Management" by 1) right-clicking "My computer" 2) "Manage" 3) Expand the "Services and application" container 4) Expand the "Services" container Look for "Microsoft .Net Framework" followed by the version number should be "started" |
