| 1322776 | 2013-01-14 11:46:00 | Connecting my laptop to LCD TV via HDMI cable results in a bit missing around every edge on TV - just about cuts the start bar off and same amount on every edge around TV. It is a bit of a pain when I full screen something and then you cant click on the controls etc. Is there any way to adjust it? |

If the TV has a way to set the HDMI input to PC mode or to label it as PC that try that first, it should make the display look better also. It could also be the resolution or refresh rate settings as Slanky mentioned, check they are set to the max native resolution of your TV and the correct refresh rate (prob 60hz) Otherwise most video card drivers have scaling options that can adjust the picture to fit, ATI and Nvidia both do. Just look around in the Catalyst control centre or Nvidia Display properties and see if you can find it (if it's intel I think it's there somewhere also). |
