1298176 2012-08-31 22:19:00 The 'Elite' of this country, are treated differently to the rest of us.
A sad fact of life in a totalitarian system, time to send them all on a fact finding mission to the real world!

1298177 2012-08-31 22:24:00 I support the judge, but I think he was a bit severe with the 20,000 reparation payment which is obscene. They only sconed him because he was rich, if it was a NATO road rage incident in West Auckland between two proper Westies it wouldn't rate a much of a mention.
I hope the injured person had learnt a lesson as well, in a road rage incident don't place yourself in front or behind the car. Its 101 for road rage incidents I have been in a few.

Good bit of sentencing that - victim gets 20 grand, driver gets barred from driving for eighteen months and helps the community as well through 250 hours community work, saves tax payer from costs of imprisonment.

Crown isn't appealing - they must think it is a good result.

For what the victim had to suffer $20,000 won't seem like much and I don't mind the tax payer being saved some money but he should of got twice the the community work.

1298183 2012-09-02 04:54:00 And the victim will be reminded of it for the rest of his life, the driver, will he will probably forget about after he has done his community service and got his licence back. Trev (427)
1298184 2012-09-02 05:49:00 I'm sure that if it were someone ordinary (read poor), who committed this attack and hit and run, the same judge would have given them a holiday in the clink.
Time to dung out the crappy, reality disconnected lot of them in my opinion.
