Not sure now we in Chch but in Nelson it was all the tourists, you would see them all lined up outside in the street hooking into the wifi, all the internet cafe owners are furious up there

That's insanely expensive, not to mention the 2Degrees coverage / speeds are *horrible* beyond belief :(

The libraries down here are the same. I wish the council would drop the free access as our rates are now sky rocketing to pay for all the quake damage. Let everyone pay for their own wi-fi like we have to! :mad:
