| 1298596 | 2012-09-03 21:01:00 | Two ways to look at this..... is it a photo of the landscape that has a couple of hang gliders in it? Or is it a photo of a couple of hang gliders. If it is the first, well,it is OK because it is a true record of what the day was like. If it was the second, IMHO it needs cropping using a smidgen of the rule of thirds. My feelings on editing is that we never know what is a true images at the current conditions. Mist and haze can have a great effect. So, I have adjusted the tone control just a wee bit and cropped it' Attached file: fly2_(1).JPG (www.imagef1.net.nz(1).JPG) (233 KB) Ken |

Technique is everything, use the correct exposure, use an appropriate ISO setting, use a tripod, and most importantly - set the tripod the on a firm footing anywhere (except Australia). You are guaranteed to get a picture better than any yet taken of Oz. ;) |

For me, this photo ought to give the look and feel of Australia - a bit of haze, not too saturated, not too much contrast, only a tad sharpening perhaps. A good photo Metla. I like the way that hardly anybody has cropped it. One really gets the feeling of being there |
