| 1323301 | 2013-01-17 18:40:00 | FF has come up with a Plugin update nag lately. I cannot get rid of it. Toggled update notify in about:config, no joy. Removed the URL which worked for a couple of hours yesterday, but now it opens a blank tab on startup. Yes, I know I could update the plugins, that's not the point though. How do I shut it up? |

| 1323304 | 2013-01-17 22:43:00 | Are These suggestions (support.mozilla.org) any good, or have you already done that. Why not just update the plugin. Tried all the about:config tweaks. It re-enables : plugins.update.notifyUser Why? Because I don't want to be dictated to by software, it should be my choice when I update. It's mostly nagging about Java anyway... |

It's Java and um....can't remember what the other was.....it's never done it before, always ignored my settings - which were OFF, so don't know what started it up. I don't update FF either, I only ever update anything manually, never have the autos on. Bloody annoying. |
