From what I have read, they look more like they should have been given back to the Chinese by the Americans after the war. Japan is getting a bit provocative over them. Not good news, the Chinese will not want to back down (lose face) Now the Spratley's, they are a different story - China should back off those! |

Google earth couldn't find the disputed island under either name. |
