104570 2002-12-09 20:16:00 Hello everyone,
I am setting up a simple budget spread sheet and want to be able to set a start month in a cell and have a series created using a formula which will increase by one month each cell in the series of 12 (or for that matter any period).
I have tried setting the date format to a month related form and adding 1 to each successive cell this produces an increase of just one day. Using 30.4 days as the increment to increase by naturally enough goes out of whack as soon as a short month is encountered.
This seems simple, can anyone tell me what I'm missing?
Excel's help doesn't seem to cover it.

regards Tim

104571 2002-12-09 20:38:00 Just type in first column the first date e.g. 30/01/2002 and the second date in second column (28/01/2002).
Then select both cells and drag the selection holding left muse button across the columns. The cells should be populated with the series of dates that can be formatted to any date format.
