| 104546 | 2002-12-09 19:35:00 | Hello everybody, How's everybody doing? Yes, schools out! But now comes the computer queries... i have just brought a BenQ CD-Rewriter (yes, it works very well). Brought a few CDs, but just lately found out that of the files I copied onto the CD appeared to be small in size. I could of fitted all the CDs into one! So my question is: If a CD-R (normal one) is not burnt near full, can I go back and add stuff to it until it is closer to the limit, i.e. 650/700 MB? If so, how do I go about it? Can I classify this as 'Multisession' in the Nero 5.5 Burning Rom software? Please do remember that I am using Nero 5.5, so hopefully you can reply in a instruction which I can do. | 104547 | 2002-12-09 20:18:00 | Yes, you simply leave the session open (i.e. uncheck the option just before burning that says finalise CD). It does waste some space per session though. Some CD reading devices don't like CDs with open sessions (such as stereos). |

| 104551 | 2002-12-09 20:59:00 | Click on Continue Multi-session CD, Provided you started with Create New Multisession CD. Multi session CD's add 14Megs of data to the end of each track, so each time you write to sometihng, add 14megs (More for Nero coz it has its own little extra file that remembers where everything was on your PC and updates it) to the compilation size. Some older drives dont like Multisession and only read the most recent sessino written. Most stereos dont like Audio CD's that have been used for multisession. I'd sugggest you burn Audio CD's all at once. Dont forget that for full compatibility you should finalize the CD on your last write to it... But then again, I hardly do that.
