The nature of the scene you are printing The sharpness of the original The eyesight of the viewer As all the variables are interdependent only trial and error will tell you. The only constants are the printer resolution and the camera firmware. Its really like saying "how long is a piece of string" What someone finds acceptable others will find below standard. The subject matter will greatly influence it also The answer will lie between 2" x 3" and A4 |

I printed to the full A4 page and the result was like a cross-stitch picture of the flower-- in fact it could easily have been used as a cross stitch pattern as it was made up of little coloured squares- from across the room it looked a perfectly normal pic-quite attractive in fact!
