104657 2002-12-10 02:10:00 BSOD can be caused by a lot of things..

Bad memory address, HDD failing, Memory error, Bad drivers...etc.

it'll help if you can tell us the BSOD msg.

104658 2002-12-10 02:23:00 does this only happen in word? if yes, then its office corrupted or word macro virus. yang11 (170)
104659 2002-12-10 02:29:00 When you reboot it, do you get as far as Windows, then the blue screen?

From your description, it sounds like the blue screen is not the BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) as it would have an error message normally.

How long between powering it up and getting the blue screen?

104661 2002-12-10 03:07:00 Thought so.
Sounds like a pretty massive failure, possibly a hardware problem.

Try getting a DOS boot floppy, see if it will boot to that, if not....
