What's with these ATX power supplies? When win98 crashed (often) with older computer with AT power rebooting was easy enough. With newer more powerful machine with ATX Win98 still crashes but lots less often - however I can't reboot from the machine by itself. The only way I can reboot is to switch off power supply at the wall then on again, and then the computer switch on again. Is this the way ATX is supposed to work? Should I be doing something else (other than using a different OS)? |

in a bad crash no buttons will work, you have to turn it off via the power lead.
how about fixing the pc so it dosn't crash ;-) |
