| 104796 | 2002-12-10 08:30:00 | I have a problem with Outlook 2000 Whenever I try to open a message I get an error message that says: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Program:C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe abnormal program termination I've uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook without any difference. | 104798 | 2002-12-11 04:58:00 | Hi Capt Jimbo If you don't have Outlook with the Corporate Workgroup/Other (CW) option installed as mentioned in the above MS information link, you might want to have a look at this MSKB article as well if you use McAfee VirusScan. | 104799 | 2002-12-11 06:07:00 | Thanks Jen It described my problem very accurately. Unfortunately it didn't provide a cure. I did find in "Com Add-ins" an item called "ICQ Express" I've unticked it and Outlook seems to be behaving itself. Here's hoping it's as simple as that. Jimbo |
