| 104783 | 2002-12-10 07:24:00 | DirectDBNotifyWndProc Running OE6 on WinME - tried to open an e-mail but "not responding" it seemed so I tried closing down but got error message asking should I wait for DirectDBNotifyWndProc to end . What is DirectDBNotifyWndProc Can someone explain OR point me to a relevant prior post, please |

| 104784 | 2002-12-10 21:03:00 | Okay Breaking the name down (and no doubt I'm extremely wrong here) DirectDBNotifyWndProc "Direct Db Notify" Windows Process I honestly have no idea what it is, however, if it's running on startup you can (hopefully) get rid of it by Start > Run and type "MSCONFIG" This launches the System Configuration Utility (big name huh?).. Navigate over to the Startup tab, remove the tick from it (and any other programs you don't want running on startup... Close Out, Reset, and on reset put the tick in the box "do not show this again" Hope this helped |
