2002-12-10 20:06:00 | Hello People :) I'll just like to ask can a socket 462 support AMD Duron's like socket A does. Cause I'm thinking about upgrading my MS-6378 to a K7MV2 ( www.asrock.com.tw ). By the way is there a huge difference between those 2 sockets? and when I'm installing the CPU would it be different. I'm new at this so... ?:| , but I'm not new at installing hardwares just the CPU :D . Thank you people :)

2002-12-10 22:27:00 | Yeah, You're right.. Just different names, Socket A is easier to remember as AMD's, rather than remembering Socket 462. Both are the same! It is supported! | Chilling_Silence (9) | |

2002-12-11 10:07:00 | Hi One more question please :D Um, installing the motherboard and connecting the the cables seems quite easy but the setup in bios...is it hard?

2002-12-11 20:09:00 | RTFM means Read The F* Manual... Put whatever in after the *, from profanity to anything else you can think of, but provided you read the manual, you should have no probs. I just got a new mboard and read the manual, although it wasnt as clear ass I would have liked it, read it, as it really helps! Cheers Chilling_Silence

2002-12-11 20:29:00 | Read The Flaming Manual . Contrary to the title this is not a flame war hot-to guide but useful advice. Remeber, of course, that real men rean manuals about as often as we read maps. Therefore it is always a good idea to either read it in bed with the light out or inside a magazine so that it can't be seen ;) | crozier (2004) | |
