For some reson my mic is not working. I have spent months doing sound test, ajusting settings, downloaded the latetest direct X 8.1b, changing mics etc. When I go into the "Test hardware" in the sounds and audio devices properties box for microphone test an error box apairs saying "Ran a DLL as an App has encounted an error and needs to close". Looks like DirectPlay may be causing the propblem. I have Windows XP Pro. All the other sounds work O.K. Any help on this very much appreciated. |

I dunno. I have XP and I cant get my mic to work either. |

Maybe your mic is dead? Tried ours out for the first time last night and it works fine in Win XP Home on MSN.
You have been in the Volume control properties and made sure the microphone settings are ticked in Options>Properties>Recording, haven't you? |
