| 105353 | 2002-12-12 03:54:00 | My Microsoft Intellimouse Optical mouse keeps dying on me. I can`t find anything on the site that covers it.The mouse light goes out and a message appears in the taskbar saying: USB device not recognised. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it. For assistance in solving this problem click this message. Doh! I just pull out the connection and replace it and it starts up and goes for half a minute or half a day whether I am using it or not. Is my mouse stuffed (it is not even 12 months old) or is it something that can be readjusted. I have reinstalled the driver that did not help. Any help would be appreciated. |

| 105355 | 2002-12-12 04:09:00 | Sounds like mouse to mouse resuscitation might be needed? If the light goes out, then either the mouse is faulty or the USB port is shutting down. I would suspect the cord may be shorting? |

| 105358 | 2002-12-12 08:33:00 | My Microsoft Optical Intellimouse has a 5 year warranty. I have this in writing. Hmmmm.... Worked now for 2 years... Plugged into the PS/2 port even though it's USB. Your mouse may have come with an adapter... USB to PS/2. |
