105320 2002-12-12 01:39:00 Where's the best place that I could buy M$ Office 2000 from locally, and prefferable cheap too!

I know this is pretty simple, but I know its not in at DSE and stuff so I thought I'd ask, as you guys might know a good dealer.

Thanks in advance...

105321 2002-12-12 01:42:00 You might find it hard to get. With Office XP taking over M$ have more than likely withdrawn Office 2K.

Why do you want 2K particularly?

105322 2002-12-12 01:45:00 Hey

I Agree with Crozier... Tough find - the ones on TradeMe (http://www.trademe.co.nz) go for much the same price as OfficeXP does now (I don't think those people understand the concept of depreciation... :D)

You could always go for Academic Pricing???

105323 2002-12-12 02:19:00 Hint for you C_S.

Search for Computer Brokers... or auction houses advertising liquidation auctions. Some may have original non-oem W2Ks for auction.

105324 2002-12-12 02:28:00 One more thing I forgot to tell ya.

You can buy retail XP pro license and install W2K pro instead. That's allowed for non-OEM Win Professional products.

Note that only apply to Windows Pro, not Office Pro.

Check the paper and other publications such as the Trade and Exchange and the Bay Trader. :)
