105054 2002-12-11 05:55:00 Go to the Control Panel, open the User Accounts part, and click Change my account. In there is the option for changing your picture, and you can click a Browse button. I'm not sure, but your custom pic might need to be the same size as the standard ones (probably 64x64 pixels) agent (30)
105055 2002-12-11 06:46:00 that was so simple and i was so oblivios to the fact of checking the User Accounts settings. Thanks agent. :) vk_dre (195)
105056 2002-12-11 09:20:00 LOL - reminds me when I first installed this Win XP, the first thing I wanted to do was change my pic from that stupid duck but I didn't have time to do it what with more pressing needs to be seen to.

Ha, my daughter figured it out on her first turn on the new PC - she claimed the frog and I was left wondering how she did it. Got it all sussed now though and the duck has been banished to the pond where it belongs. :D

105058 2002-12-11 09:42:00 or...just click on start and then click on the pic at the top of start menu. brings it up straight away. (learnt that from my 2 year old after she changed my pic daily, now password protected as she seems to think that I should always be the dog)

105061 2002-12-12 04:26:00 I agree big time! Another little tip I learnt from her was when I click on Favourites (IE6) and then make a selection from the left hand menu, I would normally click on the (rather small) "X" to remove that menu. I learnt again from the 2 yr old to click on the 'favourites' button again to remove it. Simple. sam m (517)
105062 2002-12-12 04:38:00 the knowledge that the "little people" posses is quite amazing. :D
That raises the question, " Do all people start off with a very indepth knowledge of computers since they are born, then gradually loose it when they age? :D If this theory is true then Godfather and the the rest of the 1K club are all children. :D
