| 105287 | 2002-12-12 07:33:00 | The spacing between the words is because you have selected "justify". To make the text align on both margins, Word changes the spaces between the words to stretch the line across the page. | andy (473) | ||

| 105289 | 2002-12-12 11:07:00 | oh it's ms word ME tried all your suggestions no luck as yet the trouble is somehow I've formatted the fist paragraph different from the rest and I'm having trouble unformatting it - I think that's the trouble anyway... I select all and change but the two formats still only change according to their format parameters - hmmmm indeed I think the [i]first[/] paragraph is the correct format and the [i]remainder[/] is incorrect :) - either way I just want it all to match up - although ofcourse in the scheme of things this aint earthshattering:) but if you know what I'm on about please post.... cheers |

| 105290 | 2002-12-12 20:05:00 | Put your cursor in the first paragraph and have a look at the Style that the paragraph is . You should see the Style box on the Toolbar and it will say something like "Normal" or "Heading 1" or something like that . Take a mental note of it then put your cursor in the next paragraph . That paragraph should be the same style as the previous one . If it is not then go back to the previous paragraph and highlight it all and in the drop down Style box choose the same style that the next paragraph is . Hopefully that will do the trick but if not then post back for more advice . |
