| 105275 | 2002-12-11 22:08:00 | hey team. just thought i'd boast about a purhcase i have recently made. i was on the hunt for something to try and cool down my Athlon XP without cutting holes in my case to put in new fans. yeasterday i brought a system cooler from Dick Smith electronics, (not really a system cooler just 2 fans stuck together) for $25. it screws onto the PCI screw holes and juts out over the cards and the mobo board and it has cut my CPU and case temp down by 5.C my CPU runs at 39.C and my case at 23.C and we have been gettin some blistering heat in Levin aswell. i real good investment for your PC's sake!.. | 105276 | 2002-12-11 23:08:00 | I've got the same thing from DSE. I took out the 5.25" drive panels in my mini-tower case, screwed the twin fans there and it draws cool air into my CPU box. Cool air going in from the front, warm air going out from the rear, toasty toes... yummmmmm.... |
