| 105567 | 2002-12-12 23:10:00 | how can I change the date format to dd-mm-yr in a footer | eric (2763) | ||
| 105568 | 2002-12-12 23:44:00 | I assume you do the following, View, Header Footer, then click the insert date icon is that right? If so when I do this it comes up in the format dd/mm/yy Make sure you language is set to New Zealand English, to do this do the following, Tools. Language, Set Language then select English (New Zealand) I think this will correct you problem. Hope this helps Sam H :) |

This is particularly useful for multiple pages, so that the dates can automatically update (if you want) to today's date. Click... Insert - field - date - then date options for the format & type (eg create date, save date) in the header. Then bookmark (by selecting I think) the created date code (may have to turn on view bookmark in options)... Then in subseqent headers click insert cross reference to a bookmark then your created coded date... Coded dates should appear in the headers (Alt F9 to switch to view - hide codes)... |
