| 105565 | 2002-12-12 22:46:00 | I've installed a cd writer for someone to do backups on a two PC network. Using rewritable CD's, they are filling up. They are using Nero and replace files and remove deleted files boxes are both ticked. They are backing up around 100MB What could be going wrong? |

| 105566 | 2002-12-13 07:55:00 | Hey Could you elaborate on a few things > I've installed a cd writer for someone to do backups on a two PC > network. This is easy - A Cd writer for network backups :D > Using rewritable CD's, they are filling up. They are using Nero and > replace files and remove deleted files boxes are both ticked. So you want deleted files and replaced ones updated?? ?:| > They are backing up around 100MB That's not too bad - should it be more ?:| > What could be going wrong? I personally wouldn't use CD-RW's as a permanent backup solution. They were made to be written over and not as a long lasting (and safe) backup media CyberChuck |
