| 105546 | 2002-12-12 20:58:00 | My sound is coming through fine but i can no longer turn it up or down. The sound level is ok but i would like to turn it up if i am playing music. The up/down does not work in all programmes supplied Yahoo, winmix, one, and in general. My music for 'start up' is fine, by that i mean it is coming through clearly but again I have no control over the level. I have push the sound up in all programmes, where i can, and left them there.but to no avail. I reckon it all started in 'Yahoo Messenger' where they were all shouting each other down. I did turn the level down to a more reasonable setting but turned it back up in another room. It did not respond but stayed on the lower level. I am using 'wins me'. Can anyone help? Have i supplied enough information? |

(Have a looksie at Trillian (http://www.trillian.cc) - combines MSN Messnger, AOL, Yahoo (i think) and ICQ into one handy dandy program - and it's free :D (God bless open source) What Volume levers are you referring to - the ones in Volume Control (when you double click on the speaker icon in the system tray) or the ones inside programs?? or both ?:| If the worst comes to the worst you could always buy speakers with volume controls on them :D - joking - post back and someone will help CyberChuck |
