106005 2002-12-15 02:37:00 Yes. It was broken. Now it's "not quite right". Graham L (2)
106006 2002-12-15 02:39:00 Seems to be - my message looked like it was posted but came up for me saying PressF1 Error, now it says it for someone else's message. Jude (2777)
106007 2002-12-15 02:48:00 Your posting is there, Jude, but you might not get any answers until it's fully visible again. (You can see it by clicking on your name here, and looking at your list of posts.)

You picked a bad moment to register here.:D. Welcome, anyway.

106008 2002-12-15 02:52:00 Thanks, Graham - I did find my message eventually, and I think I have just discovered the answer, but I'll post it in the same thread. Jude (2777)
106009 2002-12-15 02:53:00 Oh yes, it's very broken. It's displaying four threads to me, and the second to last one is cut off and the last one's subject is replaced with an error and to contact IDG if you continue to receive this error. A refresh did not fix anything. agent (30)
106010 2002-12-15 03:30:00 Hi, mines broken too

Did you guys install the latest MS security update that changed the virtual Java settings?

If so this may be the problem????

As a matter of fact I have just installed the latest MS security update but I didn't know that it changed the virtual Java settings.

Is there anyone here who hasn't installed the update and has forum problems like us?

106012 2002-12-15 04:13:00 Although I also installed the Java VM update from M$, the forums look "Broken" with the message "PressF1 Error" at the bottom of the page.

106013 2002-12-15 04:14:00 I had those problems too this afternoon, but now it has come right again.
Win98SE, IE5.5, SP2, Q324929 is the latest update, not sure whether that is the same update mentioned.
