| 105999 | 2002-12-15 02:20:00 | I am running Win XP at work as of a week ago - admin level access. I log on to a Novell 5 network. Since the upgrade to XP I am no longer able to to open cdl, txt or csv files stored in any network location through Excel. I receive this error message: "filename.csv" cannot be accessed. The file may be read-only, or you may be trying to access a read-only location. Or, the server the document is stored on may not be responding. If I copy these same files to C:\ drive they open immediately. Ordinary Excel files on the network open immediately. In Novell, I have administrator rights also. What am I missing? Thankyou |
