| 105923 | 2002-12-14 09:38:00 | Hey Virutal memory is when your operating system uses HardDrive space as extra memory. For example if you have 64MB Ram then that is physical memory, but if your OS needs more it will use your HardDrive as "virtual" memory. This is why it is reccomended that you do not completely full up your HardDrive, as Windows wants Virtual Memory (even if it doesn't always need it) CyberChuck |

| 105924 | 2002-12-14 09:38:00 | No Virtual memory is what gets used when RAM is getting low, its an area on the HDD that is used "like RAM" to free up RAM. Its a lot slower of course |

Not that I've noticed... System Doctor (the part of NU that monitors VM etc.) uses 1.3mb while running on my machine, and that's monitoring a LOT of things, and most of them update constantly.
