I am faced with the delema of which format to use for downloads i.e: HTML Bzip PDF Zip PDF or Gzip HTML (huge) I assume the (huge) means for huge files to download? Suggestions from your experenice please. At the moment downloading a document <3411KB at approx: 2.8 KB/sec> using Zip PDF. Approx: time 20 minutes. Cheers merlin-nz in Linux ;-) |

Bzip/zip PDF is a compressed PDF, Bzip gives better compression, the Zip is incase you don't have bzip2 installed (unlikley). But the size difference will be <1mb. The Gzip HTML will be a zipped copy of the HTML option. The huge will be refering to the size. |
