And let all those detractors be reminded that it is free! (Well, to the users it is.) I get quite put out (sensitive blossom I must be) when people are rude but then I do offline too. In a confine area, you have four walls to display, in open air, you have the hills (contoured), trees, wind, snow, rain etc. A lot more entities for the PC to keep track of. Try setting your details to medium and see if that will help. |

Your description of the mouse problems made sense to me, and hopefully makes sense to someone who knows the answer. No, i don't think Baldy got a free computer in the end, although there were certainly enough people willing to donate parts to get him a working slug to get him by. If you will do a wee search you will find the thread where Baldy managed to negociate his way out of having his computer reposessed. .Clueless |

| 106149 | 2002-12-18 01:04:00 | Tim, there is a command in AA to show frames per seconds (fps). I don't have the notes with me here but if you've played UT before its the same command. If you watch the fps inside a room, it will drop quite a bit when you venture outside. What kind of graphic card are you using? |
