106402 2002-12-17 01:13:00 I think that's only if you pay a fair amount in advance or with a credit-card. I think several ISP's offer that function.

BTW, When I said they'd won ISP of the Year, I was thinking of Paradise while writing that, so sorry, that's not true, please ignore that comment!

Thanks!

Tis $16.95 by direct debit or credit card Or $17.95 by cheque. You must pay for 3 months at a time.

Cheers Steve

106405 2002-12-17 03:58:00 As a family we have been with them a little while and I have found them very good and would not hesitate in recommending them. When I hit as problem I e-mailed them and got a quick response (for free). Go for it! BernieL (1913)
106406 2002-12-17 04:15:00 Well thats good that they don't slow the ports for P2P. I still stand by my comments on the bandwidth issue though.

In regards to their prices. You have probably noticed that most ISP's have raised their prices this year. It's because the pricewars had got to a point where they just weren't making any money to continue or build their networks.
They also now try and differentiate by giving you virus scanning on emails as xtra, quicksilver, ihug and im sure a few others do.

106407 2002-12-17 04:17:00 Xtra's is free, Ihugs cost a few bucks extra per month, $8 for all the options I think (Spam and virus filter and a few other little additional things).

Nope. No ADSL either. Only dial-up.
They stick to what they do best.
