I worked in a department store here in NZ (the now defunct DEKA) and we were never trained properly, and it sounds like this guy wasn't trained at all. How was he to know that the box contained what it contained if he wasn't trained? It really gets on my nerves because I know that he would have been either fired or severely reprimanded and it wasn't even his fault. I was always getting told off for not doing things I didn't know I had to do.... | promethius (1998) | ||
| 106825 | 2002-12-19 10:19:00 | It's hard to say no to though. Having stated my views I then met something similar today. Noel Leemings and printer ink. The colour cart had the black and white label on it. Very, very tempting when told the price! Far too honest for my own good - I pointed out his error (but did suggest that if he really wanted to sell it to me at that price I'd take 3). For some reason he didn't take me up on that suggestion and was last seen checking the labels on them all. |
