106773 2002-12-17 03:04:00 We have an NT4 PC and there is a HP DeskJet 810C printer connected as a network printer. From a Windows 2000 Professional we've tried to install the network printer. The "Add Printer" wizard finds the printer and says: "The server on which the printer driver resides do not have the correct printer driver installed. If you want to install the driver on your local computer, click OK". After clicking, it finds the necessary INF file (BIOSINFO.INF) and quits with this dialog: The printer driver you selected is either not compatible with your current version of Windows". Have tried from several PCs including XP machines. Seems that the NT machine has alternate drivers installed for all operating systems except 2000 and XP and so can't install either. Can anyone help me please? womble (2796)

This works for me!

Cheers

106775 2002-12-17 04:44:00 .. Sorry, Forgot to mention:
If you dont have the CD, search google for:
DeskJet 810C Driver Download 2K
And save it and unzip it to your HDD somewhere, then instead of selecting the CD-ROM drive, also select "Specify a Location" and specify where you unzipped it to :D

Cheers
