I have installed the Xtra drivers on my computer (using XP PRO) and I have got this spinning "X" in the top right hand corner instead of the nice looking "Waving Window". Some one told me to up "rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear" into the Run Command and it works and gives me the waving window but it doesn't stay, every time I restart my computer, it is back to the "X". | 107295 | 2002-12-18 07:36:00 | Firstly I'm surprised that any ISP would need you to install drivers on your computer for the purpose of dialing into their service. But now onto fixing your problem. Start up regedit.exe and browse to the following key: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar". Change the values for BrandBitmap and SmBrandBitmap to "Default". If you're not sure about how to do this, either download this tool (www.digitalspider.cwc.net) or check the instructions at IE Info Site (www.ieinfosite.co.uk). |
