| 107255 | 2002-12-18 05:04:00 | Hi Guys I'M running Office 97 with XP Pro and when I have several docs open in WORD, I wish to easily change between them. This can be done by clicking on the WINDOWS heading on the tool bar and slecting the correct document, but this is a little bit slow In EXCEL, with several diferent files open, you can just "Control" "TAB" between the opened files. (doesn't work in WORD) Does anybody out there know if there is a shortcut in WORD, to do the same thing. Cheers HH |

| 107258 | 2002-12-18 22:59:00 | I should have mentioned that the Ctrl+F6 and Ctrl+Shift+F6 shortcuts work in Excel too, so you may prefer to stick with that combination for consistency between Excel and Word, rather than Ctrl+Tab. Cheers Miami |

At present i have 7 windows open and by using the ALT = TAB i can see what each window contains, by releasing the keys when the desired window is reached, it appears for me to view. Katt ........ who is ALT + TAB outa here ;) |

I am unsure where Word 97 fits the feature, but it may not work if I remember correctly. |
