107140 2002-12-18 03:28:00 Id just check PriceSpy.co.nz and look for a cheap one with Nero, although AOpen are the best from what Ive heard... Chilling_Silence (9)
107141 2002-12-18 03:49:00 I'd recommend AOpen, TDK, or LG. agent (30)

107145 2002-12-18 08:25:00 Well Guys, thats interesting..

BTC 16/10/40 & 32/10/40..I am amazed at the prices you quote, compared with the 8/4/32 HP I got a few years ago..

So please tell me, apart from the price, would you recommend them.. Are they satisfactory, do you have any problems ?

I'd be glad to have your opinions.

107146 2002-12-18 08:36:00 Mine has only been in a week and havent used it much. Did have trouble formatting cd-rw but think a cable was loose. wotz (335)
107147 2002-12-18 08:39:00 I don't know anything about the BTC apart from the price and I have seen the brand many times.

You probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference in a blind test between the cheapest and dearest writers, although that comment is sure to be contradicted.

I would go for the BTC and spend the balance of your spare cash on blanks. Have fun!

107148 2002-12-18 10:15:00 Go the BTC, I know plenty of people with them that haven't had any trouble.

I've got an 8x one of their's and it's great.
