107132 2002-12-18 09:59:00 Don't be too hard on poor hubby as I once got the photos on CD when getting a film developed and ended up throwing the CD away as the quality was so poor. They obviously did not realy want me to print from them myself as it would do them out of work. It made me feel like taking up developing again. mikebartnz (21)

107136 2002-12-18 22:31:00 Honeylaser, if not too late apart from getting a price from a one hour shop that you already have, since they are wedding photo's consdier going to a couple or more of the professional labs in your area that deal with us in trade and see what they will offer you.

Yes, it will most likely cost a little more but I think the end results would be better as some of the one hour shops leave everything upto the computer to decide in regards to contrast, colour balance etc where as the professional labs are more likely to put a little extra effort into it.

I would scan them for you myself but I am not in Auckland I think you said.

Of course you could always go for the cheaper option and get them onto CD and then import them to your drive, open a image program such as Photoshop and tinker to your hearts content and once you have got them just right burn to a new CD.

107137 2002-12-19 00:22:00 when they are impt photo's..
i suggest u do not cheao out in processin or printin photos

kmart is known to be cheaper than 1hr photos from a camera store
we processed a roll in Fuji - good.
then did reprint in kmart the person almost blended into the snow and the misty background.

do not cheap out with ur impt wedding photo's.

Thats what I'm saying - I don't want to take the risk of destroying the negatives or paying for bad quality scans/prints. I would rather be referred to a shop someone here has done business with and can recommend. I will not get some $5/hour worker at KMart to do it for me, I would rather do it myself and take the risk.
